Hello Again

Hello again....

I'm going to try to start slowly and get back into the blog. Here we go....

Kindergarten!!!

Travers had his first day of kindergarten!!

He was ready...not overly excited but not scared.

He seems so big.

Where did the time go?

By the end of the day he was so tired....but he said it was great!

Amelie's new hairdo!

As I mentioned Amelie (and Izzy) cut their own hair.

Amelie did a bit more cutting.

Happy 3rd Birthday Amelie!!

Amelie is three!!
We celebrated Amelie's 1st birthday at the White Swan Hotel in China.
We had Japanese food.

It has become a tradition that we all love!

Amelie had a wonderful birthday and even felt old enough to give herself a haircut.

Notice the picture of her in the birthday hat....and then at the restaurant.

More to come on the haircut.

The girls asked to wear their Chinese dresses.

Another backyard pool party!

Camp!

Act like an Animal camp.
Two weeks long.
All day.
At the zoo and Starlight theater.

By the final "show" Travers was tired!!

Amelie's fashion show!

We have a GREAT store in town...
Halls.
They have a new children's department.
The kids were going to be in a "Back to School" fashion show.
Travers ended up at camp and Izzy was sick....so.....
Amelie did the show by herself!

She walked with a friend from school and had tons of fun.

And yes...we did buy the outfit!

Travers was most likely shooting a storm trooper in the big pool!

Lunch with Grandma!

Grandma came for a visit!
We had many great lunch dates!
On this outing the girls learned to make lots of new faces!

Travers and his BFF!

Travers and his BFF went to a great camp together this summer!
It was at the zoo and Starlight Theater.
I took both the boys to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
They did great and stayed for most of it.

And they loved spotting the bats at the outdoor theater!

Amelie's 2nd Family Day!

Hard to believe that it's been two years since we met Amelie.
What an amazing little girl.
So happy,
so smart,
so funny,
so loving.....
we are such a lucky family!
