The Indian
Does anyone else have "that" photo that they remember exactly where they were and what they were doing in the photo? This is one of my very favorite pictures from my childhood. I was in elementary school and in a play..."Peter Pan". I loved this costume and where I was in life. Every time I see this photo I remember what an amazing childhood I had and hope my children can have the same!!!
Heather as a child
For so long everyone has said Isabelle looks like her dad....here is a picture of me as a child...I think Isabelle is beginning to look more like me....or is it wishful thinking! :)

Practice for Christmas?
Jean-Paul and Travers are in St. Louis for the weekend so it's just the girls, grandma and mom. We are having fun! I went to print something on the computer for grandma and I kept hearing paper being torn....here is what I found. The girls discovered my package of toilet paper from Costco and within a few seconds had done this....
Video test
I am going to try this....not sure if it will work....we will see. It is the video clip of Isabelle riding the tricycle!!

Amelie and grass
Our new house
Here are a few quick photos of our new house....we just love the space and yard and are really enjoying every minute!
Girls being girls!
Here they are again...being the girls that they are!! Izzy had fun with her bows today and just spun around and around...she can also "bat her eyes" with the best of them!
Travers and his sisters
We had a fun afternoon playing in the front yard. Travers wanted to teach "the sisters" how to smell the flowers, how to stay out of the street and how to have a stick fight. The girls were willing participants but Travers said Isabelle is not a very good listener since she kept running towards the street. He would catch her and run her back up the hill....only to have her turn around and run towards the street again!
Another day with the girls
We had another wonderful day with the girls. (Travers is in preschool every morning which is why he is not is any of the photos). This is an area outside our favorite Starbuck's. My mom and I took the girls and tried to get some photos of them with the flowers. They finally get to wear my favorite skorts from Mini Boden! I love them! They also finally fit into their shoes we bought in China!
Amelie and Isabelle
We love to play in this courtyard before and after gymboree. The weather was perfect and the girls were so happy!
Cousin Audrey
Mimi, Maria and Audrey stopped by on their way from Springfield to the airport. It was so fun to see them and the kids had a great time. Audrey and Amelie were adopted at the same time and are from the same orphanage in Hunan. I love the photo of Audrey and Izzy going head to head over the ride on toy! Both strong women!!!
Gifts from Grandma
Just after telling my mom that we did not need another kitchen item...moving will make you feel this way....she shows up with three boxes. We will have fun making "filled pancakes" with our new pancake pan!
Our first guests
We have had a yucky winter and spring so when a nice day appears we all head outside. Our friend Danielle and the Bykowski's came over and we decided to have a wine and pizza picnic in the front yard...since that is where the sun was shining. The kids all had a fun time and the adults were able to visit and catch up. Plus we met lots of neighbors since we were in the front yard!!
I like to ride my bicycle....
Isabelle sat on Travers tricycle for about 20 minutes trying to ride....she would actually pedal her feet in the air! It was so funny to watch and she had a great time on her ride!
Dad's new toy
Jean-Paul bought this mower from the previous owners....he now claims he is going to mow his own lawn. Problem is he does not really have the time so right now our lawn looks like a jungle! I bet our neighbors love us! I am going to try my hand at the mower this weekend since Jean-Paul and Travers left for St. Louis today!
