Travers had a wonderful birthday and received many great gifts.
But...in order to keep his new toys he had to do two things:
1. Give a toy away that he no longer likes to play with .
(we brought them to a charity in town)
2. To write thank you notes. We ordered some custom thank yous and Travers with our help wrote them all.
He was tired of writing his name but learned an important lesson!

so cute and a really great idea/lesson!
That's one of the most important things you can teach your kids..IMHO. I write them for Nadia now and use her Chop to stamp her name in them.
With email and all the other technology, the hand written note is disappearing, but I feel like if someone went through the effort to get me/my family a gift they should get a handwritten note.
