Lego table!!
Travers cousin was done with his Lego table and Lego's and gave it to Travers (and the girls)! Travers was so excited to get home and set up the table!! Now...how to keep the girls out of the small Lego's!!
Cousins!
Here is a fun photo of the five youngest girl cousins...Travers is also in this "young group". There are also 6 older cousins who are 10-18 years old!
Fun with cousins!
We headed to Meme and Papa's house to help them celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! The youngest 4 cousins are all within 2 months of each other and we always have a great time. Amelie and her cousin are from the same SWI in China and were adopted at the same time so they have a very special bond! Of course my kids introduced her to mini m&m's which she loved and they were happy to share....one at a time. I love the photo of Travers and his BIG cousin!
More Bikes!
Grandma and grandpa gave the girls bikes for their birthdays! The girls are always trying to ride on Travers bike and it drives him crazy! We all took bets on when the girls will be riding by themselves!!
Super who?
Travers has been having fun lately dressing up! He found so tissue paper in the art room and made a cape! Don't you love the one shoe.
Good night!
Just a quick look at the girls as they go to sleep! Isabelle needs her blanket and pink bear while Amelie needs all her dogs and cat...and her blanket!
Make-up
Grandma bought the girls a play make-up kit and boy did they love it! Travers and I came to see all the action and Travers jumped right in! All three kids painted nails and put on make-up...we all laughed!
Grandpa is here!
Grandpa came to visit for the long weekend! The kids were so excited and boy fun times were had by all! With grandma and grandpa both in town the kids were in heaven! I sure wish my parents lived closer!!

Isabelle's fashion show!
While the rest of us were at lunch Isabelle and grandma had their own fashion show. Grandma loved trying on some of the new clothes she bought for the girls and Isabelle did not seem to mind!!
Yummy lunch!
Since Amelie had to go to the doctor she and I picked up Travers and met dad and our good friend for lunch. We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant! Amelie LOVES salsa and requires that she has her very own bowl full. She does not eat the chips but uses them as a spoon to eat the salsa...and today the queso dip! I am still amazed at her love for spicy food!
For Auntie T!
Here are a few photos of your sister...she is have a wonderful time and the kids LOVE having her here...and so do I!!!
Time to decorate!
Travers absolutely loves the gel window decorations that Grandma finds and gives him. He announces that it is time to decorate and then gets to work. Today Isabelle got up early from her nap so he let her help...usually this does not happen because the girls break the gel shapes.
The decorations this holiday were a bit abstract....can you see the "USA" and the flag mixed in with the fall leaves? He was very proud of his work!
Pup-py!!!
Lindsey, who has helped us out this summer, brought over her new puppy! Isabelle was amazed! She loved the puppy....not sure how much the puppy loved Isabelle!!
Roller Coaster
The girls got a little "roller coaster" for their birthday. It has been so nice out we set it up outside. Travers and Amelie love to ride down while Isabelle loves to push the car down. They also discovered the box which entertained them for an additional hour! (Don't you love the faces of Isabelle as she watches Travers and Amelie ride down!)
2 Year appointment
Amelie had her two year appointment this week! Boy was she made. She had to received shots, 2nd TB test, and had blood drawn for some labs. The mini m&m's helped but she was mad!
So...drum roll please...Amelie is a peanut! She now weights 21 lbs (not on the American chart; 10% on the Chinese chart) and is 2 ft 8 inches tall (10% on the American chart; 25% on the Chinese chart)! The other piece of good news we received is that her lead levels (which were 19 when we came home a year ago) are now at 5!! Amazing was a clean environment and good nutrition can do!
Amelie has also started putting two or three words together: "help me", "mom, daddy home". It is really fun to watch and listen to what she wants to say! Her other new word, which always makes me laugh, is "Nope". I will ask for a kiss and she will say nope and start laughing!
